I served 20 years in the RAAF & now work as an Avionics Technician .
You would think 20 years on Aircraft would be enough. I have built
the three Kennel Blocks myself. I have an interest in growing fruit trees,
and Australian native trees. Other interests include Fishing
& Lawn Bowls. This web site was designed and built by
myself. Sandy
Taylor Sandy
has spent all her working career in customer service positions all over
Australia. Sandy supplies the up front counter expertise to our customers.
Other interests include Netball and any other women's sport.

Kennel Name & Prefix
Buguya means Sunset in Aboriginal. When the ANKC accepted, then rejected our Sunset prefix we chose the Aboriginal term meaning Sunset. Phonetically it sounds like how I feel towards some others, from time to time. We retained Sunset for the business name of our kennels. Founded 1994.
When we became interested in Working Terriers some years ago, we were not in a position to keep as many dogs as we have today. Now being different, we have chosen some very good stock from Overseas Kennels to get us started. We hope to breed the very best of both Russell's and Border Terriers, that will hold their own in the Show ring and in the field. We must remember temperament is everything. Breed for quality not quantity. The Poodle Std is a very nice diversion.
We belong to the Canine Association of Western Australia & other major relevant Breed Clubs.
When visiting ask to see our brag book of letters and cards of appreciation from satisfied customers. Specializing in small working terriers certainly appeals to our customers, who appreciate knowing their baby will not be intimidated by larger breeds whilst in boarding.
Sandy and I own and operate the Kennels together. At this stage we employ one other person as a kennel maid. If we believe the kennels needs a sitter, one of our family fills the gap.
