Sit Stay and don't go away

Ring your local Canine Control number.  Consult the club links page.  Ask the local KC for the number of the club nearest to you and ring the secretary for directions.   The club secretary should be able to tell you when, where and at what time their club operates.    Don't be put of by the detractors.  JRT's are a smart dog and many have gained their obedience titles.  

The biggest problems people have are their size and the fact that the dog thinks for itself.  (i.e. why should I sit when everyone else is standing or having fun moving).

A lot of people get hooked on these sports and go on to higher levels with their dog and gain tracking and endurance honours.
